Dr. Galang received his Bachelor of Science in pharmacology and toxicology from the University of Wisconsin at Madison in 1990. He earned his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Des Moines, Iowa, in 1996, and finished his internship at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan, the following year. He completed his Ophthalmology Residency at the Detroit Osteopathic Ophthalmology Consortium in Pontiac, Michigan, in 2000. Dr. Galang has completed two fellowships; one in pediatric ophthalmology at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit in 2001, and a second in ocular trauma and reconstructive surgery at the Kresge Eye Institute in Detroit, MI in 2002. Dr. Galang joined the clinic in 2002.

    Dr. Parmley received his Bachelor of Science in microbiology from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, in 1977. He earned his M.D. from The Uniformed Services School of Medicine in Bethesda, Maryland, in 1982 and finished his internship at Letterman Army Medical Center in San Francisco, California, the following year. He remained at Letterman for his Ophthalmology Residency, which he completed in 1987. Dr. Parmley finished his fellowship training in cornea and external disease at Dean McGee Eye Institute, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in 1991.  He was the Director of Cornea Services at Madigan Army Medical Center and established the Madigan Refractive Surgery Center for the treatment of refractive errors in soldiers.   In 2003, he joined the Eye Clinic of Wisconsin.

      Dr. Sprik received his Bachelor of Science in pharmacy and chemistry from the South Dakota State University College of Pharmacy in Brookings, South Dakota, in 1979. He earned his M.D. from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine in Vermillion, South Dakota in 1984 and completed his internship at McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the following year.

      He pursued his Ophthalmology Residency at the University of Minnesota Department of Ophthalmology in Minneapolis, finishing in 1988. Dr. Sprik spent ten years at Willcockson Eye Associates in Yankton, South Dakota, before joining the clinic in 1997.

        Dr. Hattenhauer received his Bachelor of Science from St. John’s University in    Collegeville, Minnesota, in 1987. He earned his M.D. from the University of Wisconsin, at Madison in 1992 and then completed a transitional year at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He finished his Ophthalmology Residency at the Mayo Clinic Department of Ophthalmology in Rochester, Minnesota, in 1996. He remained there for his glaucoma fellowship, which he completed in 1997. Dr. Hattenhauer was an Assistant Professor in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, before joining the clinic in 1999.
